She wasn’t what Pap was used to, taking his money bags down to the radio station with him and chatting about the weather then leaving them there. All the radio hosts – even Puppa Gyallis! – were nice to politicians. Miss Hah might not be so nice. And Papa could not calm himself when challenged.

Please gods, he wouldn’t swear like that on live radio and tell everybody what was lost in a river.
